Solar-PUR-Flush – award-winning technology for innovative solar engineering

The Solar-PUR-Flush (R) technology we developed allows us to produce polyurethane frames for solar, photovoltaics and combination elements that offer a particularly high energy yield and are very easy to assemble. Our services range from the development of components and the production of prototypes right through to offering tools, machinery and equipment for series production and customer service to ensure smooth production. Increased energy yield

With conventional aluminium frame, particles such as leaves, sticky dirt and winter snow will stick to the edges of the frame. Silicone cells switch off as from a specific level of soiling so that less energy is generated than would be feasible from a technical point of view. With BBG's Solar-PUR-Flush(R) technology, however, the polyurethane (PU) frame is flush with the module surface so that dirt particles will not stick to it and will not impair the generation of energy.

Ease of assembly, improved protection against weathering

However, polyurethane offers even more for solar modules: the innovative "click & connect" mounting system enables installers to mount components on roofs in a considerably less complicated fashion and much faster without the use of cables and bolts than has been the case so far. The polyurethane (PU) frame accommodates all electrical and mechanic connectors, cables, diodes, reinforcements and locking mechanisms. These are encapsulated during production so that the frame protects them against weathering.

Euromold Award for technological excellence

Together with one or our customers, the Solarzentrum Allgäu, we won the Silver Euromold Award of the Euromold world trade show for tool and mold making, design and product development at Frankfurt in 2007.
