Keeping proven technology in productive use

Even after many years of operation, a technically sound machine or production system can continue to be used economically. Before carrying out a complete overhaul, we assess its technical condition, determine the scope of work required and evaluate whether the overhaul is economically viable.

Based on this assessment, we define together with you which components can be reused, refurbished or replaced. Depending on the condition of the equipment and the intended application, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and control components can be reconditioned and combined with technical upgrades or modifications.

Once the work has been completed, we thoroughly test the overhauled machine or production system for functionality and load capacity. At BBG, overhauled systems undergo the same functional and load tests as new machines prior to delivery.

On request, we then recommission the equipment or integrate it into your production environment. The overhauled machine can either be reintegrated into an existing production system or reused as a component within a new system. We can commission the equipment for you and support you during the restart or ramp-up of production.
